GNARBAR is a skate wax and handsoap hybrid engineered for street sessions. Made from natural plant oils instead of the typical synthetic crude oil byproducts most wax is made of, GNARBAR delivers a more ecologically conscious formula.

When you wax a ledge with paraffin, it eventually makes its way into the storm drains as fine particles, and ultimately the ocean, where it remains as a hydrocarbon in the environment for hundreds of years. GNARBAR is made from plant oils which are rapidly broken down by nature before reaching the water system.

Rather than releasing carbon into the air, we put carbon in the bar. Finely ground activated charcoal blended throughout the bar creates a gritty texture that cleans grime, grease, and concrete dust from your hands after skating.

Add water to dial in the friction exactly where you want it — slick for rails and curbs, or tackier for controlled application and cleanup — making GNARBAR a versatile tool built for skaters who want performance without treating the environment like another spot to trash.
